20 Minute Spaghetti Sauce

In heavy 2 qt pan, add:

1 -12 oz can tomato paste (1 1/2 c.)

3 cups water

2 T dry minced onion

1 T grated parmesan cheese

1 T sugar

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp basil

½ tsp garlic powder

1/8 tsp pepper

½ tsp salt

1 beef bouillon cube

Cover and simmer 20 min. stirring occasionally. Makes 4 cups.

For meat sauce add 1 lb ground beef, browned and drained of fat.



Great Nana’s Hot Cooked Dressing (Pappy’s mother)

Bring to boil:

¾ cup vinegar

¼ cup water

2 T butter or vegetable oil

Add: 2 eggs

½ sugar

1 tsp flour

1 tsp cornstarch

1 tsp mustard

½ tsp salt

Beat well and cook until thick. Cool and add 1 cup of mayonnaise.
