Apple Dumplings
  • Pie Crust:  cut together dry ingredients & butter; add water & use fork to work into dough.
    • 1 1/4 c. flour
    • 1 Tbs. sugar
    • 1/4 tsp. salt
    • 1/2 c. or 113 grams cold butter, cut into cubes
    • 3 Tbs. very cold water
  • Apples, cored & peeled with a little bit of sugar, cinnamon and butter sprinkled over/in.

Roll out dough and wrap around apples.

Cinnamon sauce is equal parts water & sugar, boil until sugar dissolves.  Add cinnamon to taste.  Pour over dumplings and bake at about 350* for about 30 mins or until apples seem soft.

Applesauce

Boil cored & peeled apples with water until soft.  Mash together & add cinnamon.

Apple Cake

450 g geriebene Äpfel
2 TL Backpulver
1/4 TL Salz
3 Eier / Leinsaat "Eier"
60 mL Olivenöl
1/2 TL Zimt
260 g Vollkorn Dinkelmehl
1 TL Vanillaextract

Den Teig nicht zu lange mischen damit er zäh wird. 1 Std. backen @ 180*.
