Grease & flour bundt pan; put in half of batter; sprinkle on sugar & cinnamon (and nuts and/or apples). Pour rest of batter in, sprinkle sugar & cinnamon on top. Bake until toothpick comes out mostly clean; about 35 mins. Magnolia Cake1 c. or 225 grams butter: cream until smooth. Preheat oven to 180*. Batter is perfect for light green pan, which takes about 40 mins to bake, or would fill 3 round cake pans. Half recipe makes ~14 cupcakes and for frosting needs 50 grams butter, 1 box (250 grams) of powered sugar, splash of milk & vanilla. Buttercream frosting to ice cake in light green pan is 75 grams soft butter, 3 cups powdered sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 2 Tbs. milk. Magnolia frosting is 1 c. or 225 grams butter, 8 cups powdered sugar, 1/2 c. milk, and 2 tsp. vanilla. Grandma's Buttermilk Hotcakes1 c. flour Stovetop Mac & CheeseMelt 2 Tbsp. butter then add 2 Tbsp. flour to create a roux. Gradually add 3 cups water & 3 cups milk. Bring to a simmer and add 500g uncooked pasta, salt, garlic powder, etc. Simmer until pasta is cooked al dente, then remove from heat and mix in ~4 cups shredded cheese. |
